A shop that can't agree with itself
人妻ジャンキー (Hitozuma Junky) is a married-women delivery shop dispatching out of Gotanda. Its listing calls it a "hideaway for grown-ups" and sells one idea hard: the feeling of an affair, with women mostly in their thirties plus a bench of twenty-something "young wives." The roster I looked at ran from 27 to 48. Hours are 11:00 to midnight, the phone opens at 10:30, and web booking runs around the clock.
Before I called, I read the page top to bottom, and the new-customer price changed three times on the way down.
- The shop blurb: new customers play "from 75 minutes ¥13,000."
- The first-timer Q&A: an opening campaign gives 60 minutes for ¥13,000, and inside the Gotanda area you get +15 minutes on top. That's the same 75 for ¥13,000, reached a different way.
- The coupon tab: 「ご新規様割引」, the new-customer discount, 70 minutes for ¥14,000. Gotanda only, first visit only, free booking (no nomination) only.
When a shop shows you three numbers, the one with conditions printed under it is the one the phone staff will honor. The shop's own top banner explains the ¥13,000: it's the grand-opening price ("regular ¥20,000, grand-open lowest ¥13,000 + 15 minutes free") from a 12/6 opening, which puts the launch at December 2025. So that number is a leftover from opening season. The coupon has a start date of March 2026, says "no expiry," and spells out its rules. I went with the coupon.
The 40% that isn't
The coupon box shouts 40% OFF next to "normal: 60 min ¥20,000." Now open the system page. The basic course is 60 minutes ¥17,000. So where does twenty come from?
The coupon table adds it up: the ¥17,000 course, a ¥1,000 photo-nomination fee, and ¥2,000 transport. That's ¥20,000. But a free customer never pays the nomination fee in the first place. Free is ¥0 on the system page, and so is the joining fee.
Here's the honest comparison for someone like me, booking free, in Gotanda:
- Without the coupon: 60 min ¥17,000 + transport ¥2,000 = ¥19,000
- With the coupon: 70 min, transport waived = ¥14,000
That's ¥5,000 off plus ten extra minutes. It's a good deal. It just isn't forty percent, and you don't need the banner to inflate it.
How the rest of the menu is built
Worth knowing before you get greedy on the phone:
- Courses: 60 min ¥17,000 / 80 min ¥19,000 / 120 min ¥26,000 / 150 min ¥32,000. Longer stays are built by combining courses.
- Extension: ¥10,000 per 30 minutes. Compare that with the jump from 80 to 120 minutes: forty more minutes for ¥7,000. If you think you'll want more time, book it up front. Extending on the night is the most expensive minute on the sheet.
- Nomination: photo nomination ¥1,000, repeat nomination ¥2,000.
- Transport: ¥2,000 flat. The fine print says the women travel on foot or by public transit, and anything over ¥2,000 round trip is charged at cost. Gotanda is the cheap zone. The dispatch map covers the 23 wards and stretches into Kawasaki and Yokohama, but every station away from Gotanda costs you more.
- Options run from ¥0 to ¥3,000. One footnote stands out: the top-priced option is limited to 80-minute-plus courses, and 20 minutes of that course are set aside for her to redo her makeup. I liked that. It's a rule written by someone who has actually thought about the woman's evening, and it tells you how the clock really runs.
There's also a review-cashback coupon: write a review and get 70 minutes for ¥17,000, usable again and again, including with a repeat nomination (nomination fee extra, transport still charged). That one is for regulars. I'm not one yet.
The call, and the shower rule
Tuesday, a little after eight in the evening. I'd already taken a room at a small business hotel a few minutes from the west exit. Gotanda's hotel strip is the whole reason this shop is based here, and the listing even posts its own hotel maps for both exits.
I said "Heaven" and the coupon name, asked for free booking, and gave the hotel and room number. The man on the line was brisk and polite. He quoted ¥14,000 without my having to argue for it. That told me the coupon is live and not a museum piece. He gave me a window of about forty minutes.
Then he reminded me of the rule I'd already read twice on the system page: shower before she arrives. The listing says plainly that if she judges the room or the guest to be unhygienic when she walks in, the two of you shower together first. It's in writing, it's reasonable, and it saves the first five minutes from being awkward. I was out of the shower and dressed again with ten minutes to spare. That's the right way round.
The knock
She arrived inside the window. She was in her thirties, wore a dark coat, spoke softly, and had the composure the blurb keeps promising. She checked the room before she checked me, quickly and without fuss, the way someone does when it's her fourth hotel this month and not her first. Payment came first, the exact ¥14,000. She called in to start the clock, and from there the seventy minutes belonged to us.
I won't write it up blow by blow. What I'll tell you is what the pricing math can't. The "affair" pitch on the banner is mostly about pace. She never seemed rushed, and nothing felt pulled from a checklist. She talked about the train ride over like we were catching up. When the clock got near the end, she gave me a five-minute heads-up instead of letting a phone alarm do it. Seventy minutes was the right length, too: long enough that I never felt hurried, short enough that I never thought about the ¥10,000 extension.
The house rules, read like a grown-up
The bottom of the price sheet carries a long list of things that get you thrown out with no refund. It includes soliciting acts the shop doesn't offer, hidden recording, showing up drunk, refusing a shower, booking for more than one man, and trying to deal with a woman privately outside the shop. There's even a line asking you to keep your fingernails trimmed, and it notes that the women carry clippers and may ask. The shop also states that it has filed with police as a legal no-storefront delivery business under Tokyo's public safety commission rules.
None of that is exotic. But a shop that prints its rules this clearly is usually a shop that enforces them, and enforcement protects the customer who follows them as much as it protects the women.
Bottom line
- Best first move: the new-customer coupon, 70 min ¥14,000, free booking, inside Gotanda. Ask for it by name.
- Ignore the 40% banner and ignore the stray ¥13,000 lines. The real saving over a normal free 60 is about ¥5,000, and you get ten bonus minutes.
- Shower before the knock. It's a rule, not a suggestion.
- Book long, don't extend. Thirty extra minutes on the night costs ¥10,000.
- Stay near Gotanda. Transport outside the base zone is charged at cost.
I walked back to the station past the same neon I'd walked in under, ¥5,000 ahead of the banner's math and nothing to complain about. In this city, that counts as a good night.
