The URL says pine and the sign says cherry
Four minutes' walk from the north exit of Ikebukuro Station, in Toshima-ku, there is a third floor at 池袋2丁目47番1号 冨久信ビル — the Fukushin Building. The shop on it is called CHERRY WEST(チェリーウエスト). Its Cityheaven address is /tokyo/A1305/A130505/pine/.
Pine. Not cherry. Some slug got assigned to some tenant on some afternoon years ago and nobody has touched it since, and I mention it not because it matters but because it is the first sign of the thing this listing does over and over: it accumulates. Pages get added. Nothing gets reconciled. By the time I finished reading it I had counted six separate documents at this one address, each selling the same forty minutes at a different price, and the gap between the cheapest and the most expensive works out to 2.4x.
That's the piece. Here's the arithmetic.
First, what a sekukyaba actually is
For anyone arriving from outside Japan: セクキャバ, sekukyaba, is a contraction of "sexy cabaret," and it is not a soapland, a delivery health, or anything with a private room. You sit at a table on an open floor. Drinks are free-flow — here draft beer, shochu, whisky and brandy, soft drinks, all included in the sticker price. Women rotate to your table in timed sets. Contact is permitted, within a line the individual shop draws, and there is no full service. It is a drinking format with a physical component, closer to a hostess club than to anything else on this site.
Which matters commercially, because it means the product is time on a sofa with a free bar, and the entire competitive question is what a minute costs. This shop makes that question unusually hard to answer.
Document one: the price list
The system page, in full, no abridgement:
| Course | 18:00–20:00 | 20:00–22:00 | 22:00–LAST |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40分フリー | ¥9,000 | ¥10,000 | ¥11,000 |
| 60分フリー | ¥13,000 | ¥14,000 | ¥15,000 |
| 80分フリー | ¥17,000 | ¥18,000 | ¥19,000 |
Plus: 本指名 ¥3,000 (nominating a woman you've had before), 場内指名 ¥2,000 (picking someone who has already come to your table), 写真指名 ¥3,000 (picking from a photo, blind). Extensions at 40 min ¥11,000 / 80 min ¥21,000 / 120 min ¥31,000. And the footer that does the most work on the page:
飲み放題/完全コール制/税サ込総額料金システム/自動延長なし Free-flow drinks / full call system / tax-and-service-inclusive total pricing / no automatic extension.
Take the good parts first, because there are real ones. 税サ込総額 means the number is the number — no service charge bolted on at the desk, which in the cabaret world is where advertised prices routinely stop being true. 完全前金制, prepayment, means you settle before you sit and cannot be surprised at the end. And 自動延長なし is the one I'd actually pay for: when your time is up they call it and you decide, rather than the clock quietly rolling into a second set you then get billed for. The coupon page glosses it explicitly — 「コール制(自動延長では御座いません)」. That is a customer-protective system and the shop is right to lead with it.
Now the gradient. Per minute, in the 18:00 band: 40 min is ¥225, 60 min is ¥216.67, 80 min is ¥212.50. Descending, which is the normal shape — buy more, pay less per unit. The marginal twenty minutes costs a flat ¥200/min at both steps. Clean, legible, unremarkable.
Two things fall out of it that aren't unremarkable.
The time-of-day surcharge is a flat ¥1,000 per band regardless of course length. Moving a 40 from six o'clock to ten costs the same ¥2,000 as moving an 80. Which means the late penalty is proportionally brutal on the cheap end — +22.2% on the 40, +11.8% on the 80. The shop's own worst-value cell is a 40-minute set after ten: ¥11,000, or ¥275/min, which is 29% above the 80-minute six-o'clock rate for a fifth of the time.
And the extension costs more than the course. A 40-minute top-up is ¥11,000. The 40-minute course at 18:00 is ¥9,000. So deciding to stay costs ¥2,000 more than deciding to come. Run it end to end: 40 + one extension = 80 minutes for ¥20,000, against ¥17,000 for the 80 bought up front. A ¥3,000 penalty — 17.6% — for making up your mind late. With 自動延長なし, that decision is explicitly yours to make in the moment, at the worst price on the board. Buy the time you want at the door.
Document two: the coupon, and what "55% OFF" resolves to
The pickup banner is a 55% OFF flash: OPEN~LAST, 40分 5,000円, headed 「5000円で遊べるご新規様特別クーポン♪」 — a special new-customer coupon to play for ¥5,000. Valid 2026/08/28 (Fri) – 2026/08/29 (Sat). First-time customers only, free rotation only, nominations extra.
The 55% comes from the summary box, which compares ¥11,000 → ¥5,000. But ¥11,000 is the after-ten price, and the coupon's own conditions block, four lines further down, prices the after-ten slot at ¥8,000. The two cells being compared cannot both apply to the same customer. Here is the actual grid the shop publishes:
| Weekday (Fri 8/28) | Normal | Coupon | Real discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40 min, received before open | ¥9,000 | ¥5,000 | 44.4% |
| 40 min, open–19:59 | ¥9,000 | ¥6,000 | 33.3% |
| 40 min, 20:00–21:59 | ¥10,000 | ¥7,000 | 30.0% |
| 40 min, 22:00–22:59 | ¥11,000 | ¥8,000 | 27.3% |
| 60 min, open–19:59 | ¥13,000 | ¥11,000 | 15.4% |
| 60 min, 20:00–21:59 | ¥14,000 | ¥12,000 | 14.3% |
| 60 min, 22:00–22:59 | ¥15,000 | ¥13,000 | 13.3% |
| Weekend (Sat 8/29) | Normal | Coupon | Real discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40 min, before open | ¥9,000 | ¥6,000 | 33.3% |
| 40 min, open–19:59 | ¥9,000 | ¥7,000 | 22.2% |
| 40 min, 20:00–21:59 | ¥10,000 | ¥8,000 | 20.0% |
| 40 min, 22:00–22:59 | ¥11,000 | ¥9,000 | 18.2% |
| 60 min, open–19:59 | ¥13,000 | ¥12,000 | 7.7% |
| 60 min, 20:00–21:59 | ¥14,000 | ¥13,000 | 7.1% |
| 60 min, 22:00–22:59 | ¥15,000 | ¥14,000 | 6.7% |
Maximum real discount: 44.4%, not 55%. And the discount is a flat yen figure that decays as a percentage the later and longer you go — ¥4,000 then ¥3,000 flat on the weekday 40; a flat ¥2,000 across all three weekday 60 cells; a flat ¥1,000 on the weekend 60, which is a 6.7% saving on a fifteen-thousand-yen purchase and barely worth the screenshot.
Three holes in it, all of which cost money:
The 80-minute course is not in the coupon at all. The price list sells 40, 60 and 80. The coupon covers 40 and 60. A first-timer who does the sensible thing and buys the longest course gets zero.
The 23:00 hour is not in the coupon either. Last reception is 24:10. The coupon's final bracket ends at 22:59. So there is a seventy-minute reception window every night — the last window, the one where the base price is at its ¥11,000 peak — with no published coupon price whatsoever, sitting underneath a banner that says OPEN~LAST.
And the coupon inverts the course gradient. At list price, longer is cheaper per minute. Under the coupon, on a weekday before 20:00: the 40 is ¥150/min and the 60 is ¥183.33/min, and the marginal twenty minutes you'd be buying costs ¥250/min — more than any cell on the ordinary price list. If you are using this coupon, buy the 40. Buying the 60 with it is the single worst-value transaction available at this address.
Document three: the phone line that cannot sell you the cheap price
The best cell in that grid — ¥5,000, weekday, open前までの受付, received before the doors open at 18:00 — is ¥125 per minute, the cheapest minute this listing publishes anywhere.
So I went looking for how you book it. The shop has a reservation page, freespace-8, headed 「CHERRY WEST電話予約はじめました!!」 — phone reservations have started. The conditions:
※ご予約は本指名の方のみとなります ※ご予約される際は80分セット(通常料金)からのみとなります ※当日予約のみ Reservations are for nominated customers only. Reservations start from the 80-minute set at normal price. Same-day only.
Read that against the coupon's conditions — 「ご新規様初回フリー限定」, first-timers, free rotation only — and the two documents are mutually exclusive by design. The phone line takes 本指名 on the 80 at full price. The coupon requires フリー on the 40 or 60 at a discount. There is no overlap. The cheapest price at this address cannot be reserved, and the only remaining reading of 「open前までの受付」 is that you are physically standing at the Fukushin Building counter before six o'clock.
Which is doable — the phone line itself opens at 17:00 on weekdays, 16:00 on weekends and holidays, an hour before the shop does, so somebody is upstairs. But nobody will tell you that from the coupon page, and if you call to arrange it you will be quoted the 80-minute set at ¥17,000.
Documents four and five: the two rallies nobody links to
Buried on freespace pages that appear in the sidebar as decorative banners, not on the system page and not on the coupon tab:
昼&夜ラリー — the day-and-night rally. フリー限定, 「昼は15時までご利用可能 夜は23時までご利用可能」, and the price: 40分+40分=12,000円. Eighty minutes for twelve thousand yen. ¥150/min, against ¥17,000 for the published 80-minute course. A 29.4% discount, open to everybody, no first-timer restriction, no expiry date printed. It is not on the price list. It is not on the coupon tab. It cannot be found by Cityheaven's coupon filter, which is how most people compare shops.
ウエスト&本店ラリー — the two-shop hop. 「期間限定!毎日開催!」, target window OPEN~21:00, either order, first-shop reception by 21:00: 各店40分×2店舗=80分で総額14,000円. Forty minutes at CHERRY, forty at CHERRY WEST, ¥14,000 total. ¥175/min.
Note what that means: the two-club version of the same eighty minutes costs ¥2,000 more than staying in one building. Which is backwards from what a cross-traffic promotion is normally for, and tells you the hop is priced as a novelty rather than as an inducement.
And the day-and-night rally has a hole in it that took me a while to fall through. This shop opens at 18:00 on weekdays. What is a daytime session ending at 15:00?
Document six: the same room, listed twice
CHERRY WEST(チェリーウエスト)(朝・昼), trading as CHERRY DAY'S WEST. Separate Cityheaven listing, separate slug (pine-morning), separate roster, separate price architecture, 120 reviews of its own.
Telephone: 03-3983-5113. Identical. Address: 東京都豊島区池袋2丁目47番1号 冨久信ビル3階. Identical. Hours: 9:00~LAST. 年中無休.
It is the same third floor. The venue runs from nine in the morning until one the following night — a sixteen-hour operation — split across two listings that do not link to each other, do not share a roster, and do not use the same price structure. The 昼&夜 rally is a rally between a shop and itself, and the page announcing it never says so, never names CHERRY DAY'S WEST, and never gives you the second listing's URL.
The morning half's price list is a completely different animal. Nine durations instead of three, running 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 / 180 / 200 minutes, across three time bands, and every row is marked ※本指名料金込み — nomination fee included.
| 9:00–12:00 | 12:00–15:00 | 15:00–LAST | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40 min | ¥10,000 | ¥11,000 | ¥12,000 |
| 60 min | ¥16,000 | ¥17,000 | ¥18,000 |
| 80 min | ¥21,000 | ¥22,000 | ¥23,000 |
| 120 min | ¥31,000 | ¥32,000 | ¥33,000 |
| 200 min | ¥52,000 | ¥53,000 | ¥54,000 |
There's also a 通勤電車コース — a "commuter train course," a themed variant that runs 40/60/80 at ¥10,000/¥14,000/¥18,000 in the morning band, which is ¥3,000 cheaper than the standard 80. And the morning listing offers a 20-minute extension at ¥6,000, which the night listing does not: after six o'clock, in the same room, the smallest amount of extra time you can buy jumps from twenty minutes to forty and from ¥6,000 to ¥11,000.
So before three o'clock a nomination is free, folded into the course. After six it costs ¥3,000. Same sofa.
And then there is the early-bird. Printed in the morning listing's own information block:
◆平日限定◆ 9:00~11:00迄に受付 フリー 40分 5,000円 / フリー 60分 8,000円 + 場内指名半額 Weekdays only. Received between 9:00 and 11:00. Free rotation: 40 minutes ¥5,000, 60 minutes ¥8,000, plus half-price in-house nomination.
There it is. ¥5,000 for forty minutes — the exact figure the night listing is currently flashing as a 55% OFF, first-time-only, two-day, unreservable special — sold by the same phone number in the same room to anybody, every weekday, repeatably, as a standing rate. And the 60 at ¥8,000 is ¥3,000 better than the night coupon's best-ever 60 (¥11,000), which is itself restricted to people who have never been.
The morning listing even has its own new-customer coupon: 60分フリー ¥9,000, flagged 18% OFF, requiring you to register for the mailing list and add the shop to My Shop. It is ¥1,000 worse than the standing early-bird, which requires nothing but arriving before eleven.
The ladder, at one address
Every published price-per-minute at 冨久信ビル 3F, cheapest first:
| ¥/min | What | Who can buy it |
|---|---|---|
| ¥125 | Morning 早割, 40 min ¥5,000, weekday, in by 11:00 | Anybody. Repeatable. |
| ¥125 | Night coupon, 40 min ¥5,000, weekday, in before 18:00 | First visit only, 8/28–8/29, can't be reserved |
| ¥133 | Morning 早割, 60 min ¥8,000, weekday, in by 11:00 | Anybody. Repeatable. |
| ¥150 | 昼&夜 rally, 40+40 = ¥12,000 | Anybody, free rotation |
| ¥150 | Night coupon, 40 min ¥6,000, weekday before 20:00 | First visit only |
| ¥175 | ウエスト&本店 rally, 40+40 = ¥14,000 | Anybody, in by 21:00 |
| ¥212.50 | List price, 80 min ¥17,000, 18:00–20:00 | Anybody |
| ¥262.50 | Morning 通常, 80 min ¥21,000 (nomination included) | Anybody |
| ¥275 | List price, 40 min ¥11,000, after 22:00 | Anybody |
| ¥300 | 40 min ¥9,000 + 写真指名 ¥3,000, 18:00 | Anybody |
¥125 to ¥300 — 2.4x — for the same room, decided entirely by which of six pages you happened to open. Nothing here is dishonest. Every number is published. But the cheap ones are on pages the shop does not link from the page it sends you to, and the expensive one is the default.
Against the rest of the shelf
Cityheaven counts 24 sekukyaba in 池袋北口・西口. Entry price, forty minutes, cheapest first: PINK ROOM ¥4,000. Then ¥5,000 at アオハル学園, X-PARTY, Jewels and ミルキーパイ. ¥6,000 at 丸の内, AFTER V, ミスキャンパス, 彼女の部屋本店, Alegria and both ミント listings. ¥7,000 at 学園祭, あふたーすくーる本店, あふたーすくーる, 部活, FIORE — and at both of CHERRY's morning listings. ¥8,000 at Fabulous.
And at the top, tied, alone: CHERRY WEST ¥9,000 and CHERRY本店 ¥9,000.
Across the 22 shops publishing a 40-minute figure, the median is ¥6,000 and the mean is ¥6,409. CHERRY WEST's walk-up price is 50% above the median and it is the joint-highest entry price in the category. Cityheaven's own shelf tag for it is スタンダード — standard tier.
Which reframes the ¥5,000 coupon completely. It does not make CHERRY WEST cheap. It makes CHERRY WEST briefly normal. ¥5,000 for forty minutes is a once-per-lifetime introductory rate here and an ordinary Tuesday at four other shops within a five-minute walk.
Worth noting what it is not charging the premium for. This category is saturated with the schoolroom concept — 学園祭 ("school festival"), アオハル学園, あふたーすくーる ("after school"), ミスキャンパス ("Miss Campus"), 部活 ("club activities"). CHERRY WEST's own copy is 制服 and 生徒 and 先生 throughout: 「全生徒がエロくて可愛いッ!夢のような制服エロエロパラダイスへようこそ!」 The uniform theme is not this shop's differentiator. It is the category's default, and CHERRY WEST charges ¥9,000 to sell what 学園祭 sells at ¥7,000 and アオハル学園 sells at ¥5,000.
The brand is, however, the biggest thing on the shelf: four of the twenty-four listings are CHERRY — WEST, WEST 朝・昼, 本店, 本店 朝・昼 — carrying 1,046 reviews between them, against 1,334 for the category's single leader, あふたーすくーる本店. CHERRY WEST's own 291 puts it 7th of 24 individually.
And the sister shop is worth a line of its own, because CHERRY本店 publishes the identical course grid — ¥9,000/10,000/11,000, ¥13,000/14,000/15,000, ¥17,000/18,000/19,000, to the yen — at 西池袋1-23-3, IHR Building B1, three minutes from the west exit, on a different phone (03-3989-8075). Same prices, different fee sheet: 本店 offers 同伴 (¥2,000) and a 20-minute extension (¥6,000) that WEST doesn't, and WEST offers a 写真指名 (¥3,000) that 本店 doesn't. One small warning if you go looking: 本店's own morning listing gives its access as 池袋駅東口より徒歩3分 — the east exit — for a building in 西池袋, West Ikebukuro, which the night listing correctly places off the west exit. At a station this size that error is a fifteen-minute mistake.
The roster, and the week that stops on Sunday
The 女の子一覧 reports 35人. Thirty-three carry a full profile. One (はるか) has no height. One is a blank card labelled only 体験入店 — trial entry — with no name and every measurement rendered as a dash. Every single woman publishes her age as 〔?歳〕. Thirty-five out of thirty-five, no exceptions.
The site's filter counters:
| Filter | Count | of 35 |
|---|---|---|
Zero videos. The shop's navigation carries a 動画 tab; its front page prints a 「– 女の子動画 –」 section header; two of the eight most recent diary posts are titled 「動画あげたよー!」 and 「動画!!」. The video tab itself contains the words 女の子動画一覧 and nothing else. The videos are inside the photo diaries. The tab built to hold them is empty and has been left in the menu.
The measurements, for the 33 who publish them:
| Measure | Range | Mean | Median | Most common |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Height | 148–167 | 156.3 | 157 | 158 (×5) |
| Bust | 80–95 | 85.1 | 84 | 84 (×7) |
| Waist | 55–59 | 56.6 | 56 | 56 (×18) |
| Hip | 77–96 | 85.5 | 86 | 86 (×11) |
Height spans nineteen centimetres and hips span nineteen. Waist spans four, using five integers total, and more than half the roster is exactly 56. Whatever produces these four numbers is clearly not one process. Cups run B to H, with C the plurality at 14 and D at 10; three women carry E, two F, one G, one H.
Reviews are where the roster's age shows. The shop card says 291件 — a substantial history for a single floor. But adding up what the current women actually hold: 45. まあみ has 12, ひかり 9, なる 7, みな 5, るり and りこ 3 each, and six women have exactly one. Twenty-three of thirty-five are marked 口コミ募集 — reviews wanted, meaning zero. So 85% of this shop's review equity belongs to women who have already left, and two-thirds of the women you can meet tonight have never been written about by anyone. The oldest reviews still on the board discuss a woman named ななせ who is not on the current roster at all.
Then the shift board, which publishes seven days:
| Date | Women on board | Peak concurrent |
|---|---|---|
| 8/28 (Fri, today) | 9 | 9, from 19:00 |
| 8/29 (Sat) | 12 | 12 at 19:00 |
| 8/30 (Sun) | 9 | 9 at 20:00–21:00 |
| 8/31 (Mon) | 2 | 2 |
| 9/1 (Tue) | 0 | — |
| 9/2 (Wed) | 0 | — |
| 9/3 (Thu) | 2 | 2 |
Seven days published; three staffed. Tuesday and Wednesday are completely empty boards at a shop advertising 年中無休. That is not a closure — it is a shop that only fills the schedule three days ahead and lets Cityheaven print the rest as blanks. Read it as: the board is honest for about 72 hours and meaningless after that. If you're planning past Sunday, the phone is the only source.
Sixteen of the thirty-five women appear on no day at all this week. Including two of the nine listed under 店長オススメ, the manager's own recommendations: まあみ — who holds twelve reviews, the most on the roster — and かんな. The front page recommends them; the schedule cannot sell them.
On Friday the floor holds at nine from 19:00 straight through 22:00, then drops to five at 23:00 and four at midnight. Which lands the coupon's last discounted bracket, 22:00–22:59 at ¥8,000, on the final hour with a full house — genuinely well-designed — while the 23:00 hour with no coupon at all is also the hour the floor halves. Latest finish anywhere on the board is 0:59, matching the stated 1:00 close. The hours on this listing are honest.
One more thing, dated
The イベント tab carries キテネ割 — nominate a woman who has sent you a キテネ ("come see me") ping within the past week and take ¥1,000 OFF, combinable with the マイショップ割. To earn pings: register her as a My Girl and press 見たよ on her blog. Fine mechanism, real money, and it rewards the diary-reading behaviour that keeps the roster's 22 active bloggers writing.
The period line reads 期間:2/3(土)~. February 3rd fell on a Saturday in 2024. In 2026 it was a Tuesday. The event has been live and unedited for two and a half years, and the マイショップ割 it promises to combine with is never defined or priced anywhere on this listing.
What I'd actually do
Go in the morning. ¥5,000 for forty minutes, weekday, in by 11:00, no coupon, no first-timer condition, no expiry — and nominations are folded into the price before three o'clock instead of costing ¥3,000 after six. Same room, same phone, better on every axis. The night listing's headline deal is the morning listing's Tuesday.
If you only go at night, get the ¥5,000 coupon right. Weekday, and received before 18:00 — that is the only cell worth 44%. Do not call to arrange it; the phone line sells the 80-minute set at full price to nominated customers and nothing else. Turn up early.
If you're using the coupon, buy the 40, not the 60. The coupon flips the gradient. The extra twenty minutes costs ¥250/min, more than anything on the ordinary price list.
Ask about the rally at the desk. Eighty minutes for ¥12,000 is the best repeatable deal this shop publishes and it lives on a sidebar banner nobody clicks. Four words: 昼夜ラリーはできますか。
Buy your time at the door. 自動延長なし means the extension decision is yours, and at ¥11,000 for forty minutes it is the worst price in the building. The 80 up front is ¥3,000 cheaper than the 40-plus-extension.
Go tomorrow, not tonight. Saturday puts twelve on the floor against Friday's nine — and the coupon is worth ¥1,000 less on Saturday, so you are paying ¥1,000 for three extra women. That is the correct trade. Arrive by 19:00 either night; that's when the floor peaks, and Friday's board halves at 23:00.
And don't plan past Sunday from this page. Tuesday and Wednesday are blank, the shop is open anyway, and the only way to find out who's working is 03-3983-5113.
Six documents, one third floor, and a price that moves by a factor of 2.4 depending on which door you read. The shop isn't hiding anything. It's just never once put the cheap number on the page it wants you to land on.
