The Door Was Locked: Kobe Closes the Fukuhara Killing of a Sex Worker by a Customer Who Had Requested Her for Two Years
Hyogo Prefectural Police on September 1, 2026 referred a dead 33-year-old man to prosecutors on suspicion of murdering a 33-year-old woman at a sex establishment in Kobe's Fukuhara district on June 28. He had been a customer for three years and had requested her by name for two. The case will never be tried — and it lands five weeks before a workplace-harassment law that will not reach most people who do her job.
